Is the Spin the Wheel Really Random?
Yes and it cannot be rigged from the user side.
Each spin uses a free spin the wheel randomization algorithm: a Pseudo-Random Number Generator (PRNG) seeded with the current system clock value determines where the wheel stops. The visual animation is cosmetic the winning result is calculated the moment you click Spin, and the wheel decelerates to that predetermined position. Watching the wheel slow down does not change the outcome.
- Equal probability by default. Every slice has an equal chance of winning unless you manually adjust weights. A wheel with 10 slices gives each option exactly a 10% chance.
- Weights change the odds transparently. If you increase a slice's weight, it takes up proportionally more of the wheel visible to anyone looking at it. There is no hidden weighting.
- Each spin is independent. Previous results do not influence the next spin. Elimination mode removes winners from the pool, but within the remaining entries, every option has an equal chance.
- Cannot be predicted or manipulated. The seed changes with every millisecond the same list will produce a different result on every spin.
